Approximately 65,000 undocumented students graduate from high school, many at the top of their classes but cannot go to college, join the military, work or otherwise pursue their Dreams. Even though some people believe illegals abuse the Dream Act, immigrants should have the same rights as citizens because minor children brought to this country illegally by an adult should be allowed to earn citizenship and immigrants that go to college can help build a better society.
Some people believe illegals abuse the Dream Act. For example Sen. Session explains “ This bill simply incentivizes and rewards more illegality. And if it passes, what principle would lawmakers cite to object to another one after that? its passage will only encourage more people to unlawfully enter our country expecting a Dream Act of their own.” People abuse the Dream Act in the way that they show up to this country knowing that by filling up an application they will earn a permit and social number. A fact is proven that certain criminals aliens including drunk drivers will be eligible for amnesty under the Dream Act. For example the Dream Act allows applicants to have One Felony or up to Two Three misdemeanors.
There is a twenty three percent of illegal immigrants that are caught drunk driving but there is about 43,000 illegal aliens that are convicted drug offenses. But this people are still allowed to ear a dream act of their own, and abuse it by getting a permit such as also…
