They may be trying to escape oppression from their home countries or to refresh their lives with a more successful future ahead of them. Some immigrants have struggled for a long while in their countries, so they come to America with hope for a successful life. Many of these immigrants decide to stay in America, yet some decide to return to their homelands. Each immigrant has an equal opportunity to receive legal citizenship in America if they wish to do so. Many advantages and disadvantages arise with the immigration increase, but America should not turn away the immigrants in need of our support. Some disadvantages reside with the constant debt and unemployed American citizens; however, an advantage to immigration is that the immigrants gladly work for low wages. Overall, immigration has its upsides and downsides, but in order to make America better, we must be accepting to the new citizens of
