Firstly, there are many advantages of immigration for countries like skilled workers, reduce labor cost, culture values and distribution of population. Countries are accepting immigrants who are well educated and skilled because they wants their country progress and wants to make country strong help with skilled and motivated immigrants. According to Dogra (2011), the major advantages are that the countries get well qualified and skilled workers, who help to expand business and in some countries some technical vacancies are filled by these immigrants. Furthermore, economic growth is biggest advantage for countries. All immigrants are paying high amount for settling over there and they pay too much tax for social services compare than host countries …show more content…
Thousands of immigrants are going to the foreign land that’s why some countries population come one the peak. According to McNeil (2011), population is increasing in certain regions this is the major disadvantage of immigration. Because people move one country to another country that’s why population is increasing day by day and crowd is enhancing. Therefore, the natural resources are also being imbalance. Furthermore, when immigrants move to another land then they also bring many diseases in the countries and this is very harmful for the host countries people. According to Oak (2011), When immigrants may move from one country to another country then diseases are also transfer. One of the biggest example is Aids. “AIDS was transferred to the United States in 1969 through one immigrant from Haiti”. Nowadays many people are going to foreign countries with full of hope but after reach there they face many problem there because there is shortage of job and lots of people are unemployed there. According to Balive (2009), when people are immigrate to other country then unemployment is also increase day by day. The population increases the job become terror because immigrants are graduated and intelligent. Then business men are also removing native workers and young workers will be joining. Fourthly, there are many disadvantages of immigration for individuals like language barrier, foreign culture, financial burden, social discrimination and new environment. Immigrants also face many problems in the host countries like communication problem. Because immigrants communication skills are not able to interact with host countries that’s why they face problem in study and other things. According to Stroud (2013) immigrants also face problems in communication with the local people as their language skills are not enough good to interact nicely with the native people. So that’s they face many problems during the study and working. Sometime, students are not able to achieve better academic status just because of lack in communication skills.
