Industrial Revolution Canadian Immigration

The Industrial Revolution lasted many years, and it occurred through many states and countries. One of those countries being Canada, which in turn caused the spreading of Canadian immigrants and their way of life in the New England area. There were many reasons for the Canadians to leave their home country, two being, of political reasons and the moving of companies. America proved to have a lot of opportunities for new incoming immigrants, this leading Canadian companies to develop their business in America. Almost half of the Canadian population decreased due to this emigration. New England went through many up and downs during the Industrial Revolution which made the number of jobs fluctuate often. As a result of the immigration throughout the Industrial Revolution, Canadians helped shape America and New England into its new industrialized self.Also by having new machinery it created and set the standards for labor businesses today throughout America. They believed they should get better work spaces since the worked in the same place for a long period of time every single day. All this anger turned into a strike, it was mostly the textile workers that ended up actually going through with the strike. Many strikes happened throughout the Industrial Revolution all around the world. They was really no mill that was safer than the other. Mills were the biggest part of the industry other than mines. Mills were the manufacturing part of the industry where children and women mostly worked unlike mines which only men could work. One of the reasons why only men usually worked in mines was because mines had more physical labor and more dangerous labor that females and definitely not children could
