Utilitarianism is choosing the option that benefits the greatest amount of people, this would be by placing stricter policies and restrictions on the current immigration reforms. Deontology is choosing the option that is considered moral or right without thinking of the long-term consequences, this would be utilized by allowing immigration to occur at the same rate or even higher than it is now. Immigration evokes emotion from everyone involved, especially from the views of refugees fleeing worn-torn countries, the emotions range from anger and frustration to empathy and sympathy for those
