Immigration And Poverty Essay

Immigration has always been a big issue throughout the world that has caused many separations, but its the people who decide to come and leave their family and make a better future for them. These people live in poverty and that’s the reason why they decide to immigrate to another country to get a job and get their family going in the future and in the right direction. Poverty is a big problem throughout the world and that’s why people all over the world immigrate to different countries to get a good paying job. A lot of Hispanics have traveled to the U.S to follow the “American Dream” but once they get here they see the ugly truth about this “great” country. A lot of immigrants cannot work because they are illegal and don’t have documents. If they do work they get paid minimum wage, which is like 8.23 and that is not enough to provide everything needed for their families. Even though they get paid minimum wage they say it’s something better than nothing because all they want is to give their families a better future and not go back to living in poverty.

In addition this causes immigrant workers to work several hours a day for a little bit of pay and all that just to not live in poverty. All of that just to help their …show more content…
Its not fair that they get paid a little bit for all the work that they do. We are all human and therefore we all have human rights. Being an immigrant does not make you less human. Racial profiling is also a big impact in this world. Poverty though is all over the world and some people don’t even have a place to live in. They hardly have food. All these jobs getting done in the U.S are mostly because of the hard working immigrants. The solution is for immigrant workers to get paid a fair amount an hour for the work that they do.
