Laws and states are making it extremely hard for the average American to own guns. States must go through background checks to determine if the buyer is capable of owning a gun. Some states require a written essay explaining why they believe they should own a gun. The laws and states are doing this because it makes it harder for terrorist, criminals, and bad people to buy guns so there is not as much killing. Some presidential candidates believe that the gun control is heading in the right direction, while others believe it should not be messed with. In my opinion, guns are a major help in a time of crisis when help would take too long to get there, or is unwilling to help. ISIS is a major problem that must be resolved. Everyday there is new news about what ISIS has done to destroy the world’s sense of security. These days’ people are looking over their back to make sure they are safe. People are more afraid than ever to socialize in large groups or travel without the thought of danger on their mind. Purpose Statement The purpose of this research is to encourage Americans that immigration, gun control, and ISIS are vital to our country’s progress. The kinds of issues that immigrants will bring are more gangs, more drug smuggling, and poverty for the country. The country needs to be more productive in the securing of borders in order to stop these immigrants. Guns are becoming more difficult to own so that gun violence stops becoming an issue.
