According to Community College Consortium for Immigrant Education, “Community colleges enroll almost half of all U.S. undergraduates, or 6.5 million students, and one-quarter (24%) of these students come from an immigrant background.” This number is surprisingly huge, most community colleges are not even that big and if so that’s almost if not a quarter of the colleges population. Allowing these people to attend our schools will create more diversity throughout the school systems as well.
