Immigrants Should Be Made Legally Citizens In The US

Even though those people are here illegally, if they don’t have anywhere else to go, I think they should be allowed to stay and made legally citizens in the U.S. It’s kind of obvious that this paper, will be about immigration. My thoughts on immigration are that, immigration is a good thing for the U.S. because then the country itself has diversity. I don’t agree with anybody who wants immigrants to go back to their own country, because even though they’re not American citizens, there’s a reason why they moved from their country. If someone moved to America for jobs or because it has more positive things, than their country does, then I don’t think they should be sent back. If they come illegally, then they should have a consequence but, if they come legally, then they have just as much of a right to be in America, as everybody …show more content…
Seeing new faces, that come from different countries and culture, would be good for the country. Even if the country wanted to ban immigration from the country, the country would be boring because there would just be American food and plain people - born and raised. Nobody from Europe, South America, Asia, Africa, or Australia would be allowed to come into this country, unless they were born in the U.S. Nobody from jobs could enter another country if all immigration stopped. Immigration is not all bad. There are some positive effects/outcomes that come with immigration too. The positive effects on immigration include, that immigrants will often do jobs that people in the host country will not, or cannot do. Migrant workers often work longer hours and for lower salaries, and while that is debatable, sometimes exploitive, it benefits the host country. Also immigrants, can bestow to the miscellany of that society. For the host country’s economy, immigrants offer an increased facility pool, if they have been well educated in their indigenous
