The speaker sounds angry and frustrated about society especially men. In the second stanza where a man let the speaker use his phone, she wasn't happy or thankful. The fact and the matter is although she escaped from the man who was about to attract her, she is now still at the mercy of another man. The writer devoted a lot of time to for the first stanza. It has about twelve line. Twice or three times the length of other stanzas. The writer devoted this much time to let listeners grasp the dangerous /terrifying encounter the speaker had that endangered her life. It was this encounter that prompted the speaker to take karate lessons and ultimately face her own fear. From the second to the last stanza, the lines are dominated by the conversation between the speaker and her master
While talking the karate lessons the speaker had doubt about defending herself. The speaker though that she is nothing in the eye of her. Her master encouraged her to be mentally and physically strong.
Finally the speaker promised to herself that she will not let anyone frightened/ attack her. Rather she said, “[she] will walk them into their own
