Illegal Immigrants Should Be Removed From The United States There has always been a set of rules that humans are to follow. These orders originate from a variety of sources such as beings of higher power, morals, government, et cetera. When individuals disobey commands, a punishment is followed by disobedient actions. Currently, the United States suffers from accepting too many illegal immigrants without correcting them. The correct response that the citizens of the United States should remove illegal immigrants due to their actions against the law, for their encouragement of not following the rules of the government, the safety of the American people, and the improvement of the United States’ economy. Gemma continues to write that crimes of unlawful foreigners range from car theft, to sexual assault, to drug trafficking. This is due to criminal migrants not understanding the culture, laws, and morals as legal settlers and American citizens. The local police does their best to improve the nearby crime, the incoming surge of immigrants will increase felony within the area. With the rise misconduct with illegal immigrants, the law enforcement’s efforts in minimizing the wrong doings are undone, which creates a constant cycle of atrocities against the government. Gemma later reports, in his article, that the Department of Homeland Security declares an estimated “276,412 charges against illegal immigrants”. Within the enormous amount of charges, some common crimes are drunk driving, kidnapping, child molestation, torture, and lynching. For government and law abiding individuals, taxpayers spend about $113 billion dollars on illegal immigrants. New Jersey wasted approximately $2.1 billion, annually, on illicit migrants (State Cost Studies). Patrick Briney, President of the Arkansas Republican Assembly, wrote an impressive article to sum up why undocumented settlers is wrong. For the United State’s economy, Briney writes that the cost to keep illegals inside the United States is larger than removing them. Briney’s article states how illegal immigrants will live on welfare, not pay taxes, and increases low skilled jobs. While the illegal immigrants live on welfare, this increases the tax on taxpayers for the law abiding individuals of the United States. As taxes rise, the undocumented immigrants do not pay the taxes which is unjust due to having the obedient population pay for the disobedient society (Briney 1-4). As the unlawful settlers disregard the taxes and live on welfare, they also increase the unskilled workforce. As the unskilled employees increases, the unskilled jobs increases, which promotes poverty. Myra Adams wrote an article about the connection between low-skilled workers and poverty, writing about the unfilled high skilled jobs and the growing unskilled jobs is the beginning of poverty (Adams 1-3).
