Illegal immigration has been a recurring problem in the United States of America for the past fifty years. Many intelligent individuals have formulated plans on how to fix this never ending problem. However, the federal government has not passed any legislation due to the cost of all the work that is required to fix this problem. Any regulation that will govern illegal immigration is neither cheap or popular with the illegal immigrants and their supporters, but a solution is necessary, due to the tremendous burden, drug trafficking, and increasing crimes that these illegal immigrants have incurred upon the United States. More and more of these illegal Immigrants are receiving free government subsidiaries for housing, food stamps, day care, healthcare, disability benefits and schooling without paying any taxes. While our citizens are struggling to pay for the cost these necessities in order to live from day to day, illegal immigrants are getting these for free. Our government has many programs that will assist these illegal immigrants with housing and food purchases, while denying the same to our elderly and homeless. Many people claim that the skyrocketing cost of healthcare and daycare takes their entire paycheck, but our government still insist that the illegal immigrants are entitled to continue to receive both for free. Not only are the illegal immigrant getting government aid, they can also get disability benefits, even though they have not paid into this government program. The only difference is that illegal immigrants live in fear of being sent back to their homeland (206). Mexicans are not the only race group sneaking into the United States. However, they play a big part in it.
