Illegal Immigration In The US

Decent Essays
I believe illegal immigration in the U.S.happens to be a problem with a part of the Republicans. However, they don't understand on why illegal immigrants choose the U.S. for a residency. Illegal immigrants actually try to find better opportunities and reach their dream without trying to harm legal citizens. Education is actually one of the keys in what being successful, and that's why many immigrants migrate to the United states. College can be really expensive to them, and that's a big problem. College actually costs more to immigrants than what the average legal citizen has to pay, in order for this to change Congress has to pass a bill. Lets just hope that happens.

In fact, immigrants’ use of welfare and other public benefits has become even less frequent since the introduction of welfare reform laws that made them ineligible for many services, a policy that reflected hostile attitudes towards immigrants and the perceived economic impact they have on the host country (Fix & Passell…

The indication shows that in the long run, immigrants do not decrease native employment rates. Some suggestion proposes that in the short run, immigration may slightly cut native employment, because the economy takes time to adjust to new immigration. In specific, when the economy is growing and the labor market is adding jobs, new immigration makes enough jobs even in the short run and even to cause no harm to the net employment of native-born workers. But during economic declines, things do not adjust as quickly.…
