Millions of illegal immigrants have flocked to America for various reasons. The majority of these immigrants have no education past high school so finding a job can be difficult for them. Because of their desperate need for work, immigrants agree to work for U.S. employers who are able to pay them less than they would have to pay U.S. workers. If they were to hire American citizens they would have to pay more and offer better benefits. This is, of course, illegal but many employers disregard the law and have found a way to hire the illegal immigrants. In March of 2015, it was estimated that about 8 million illegal immigrants are working in the U.S. While the mass of illegal immigrants are working construction and production jobs, quite a few have managed to get more professional jobs as the years have gone by.
