1. Introduction
In this report the company IKEA and one of its target markets China would be analyzed and introduced to state some information of IKEA’s success. IKEA is a famous multinational company of selling and designing furniture, appliances and home accessories. It has been dominant in China for several decades, trying to improve the life quality of Chinese people and contributing more to modern life with its special products. This report mainly involves introduction part, company and country background, PESTEL analysis, five forces analysis, strategic recommendations and conclusion. Some information of IKEA and the reasons of its success in China would be represented through analysis (Collins, 2011).

Specifically for IKEA Company, it is faced with more opportunities. Chinese people tend to have more spared money on changing or buying new furniture for themselves, especially for young people who are going to get married. The tradition in China that young people should use new items and household appliances becomes an important reason for the growth of company like IKEA or Easy Home. What’s more, IKEA also provide some other products of innovation such as accessories, small items and practical products, these products would attract many customers. IKEA contribute a lot to society by providing opportunities for people and their employees are entitled benefits and incentives. Some environment-polluted industries would be closed with mandatory forces to reduce negative impact on environment. This requires IKEA to sell products with no or less harmful materials for human health and environment, particularly the furniture including beds, chairs, closet and so on. IKEA should control the products quality from the origins of materials, and supervise detailed programs in selling and making process (Zuvela, 2008). IKEA have been practicing to generate products with no harm to human and environment, including the raw materials, added chemicals, and decorations items.
