1.1. What is the theme of the Novel blindness?
The theme of the novel is ignorance. We can see the ignorance and selfishness of the people in many places. At the beginning we can identify the ignorance of the cat thief, no one think stealing a think from a blind even though he steal the car from him without any honesty.
At another point we can notify the ignorance of doctors wife, when she find lot of food from the store she never think of sharing the food, she escape from there without helping the blind people. Also we can see the thieve gang who demand money and jewels for food and water then they cross the limit and order for the women for their sexual happiness, which show their masculine logic and ignorance towards women.
