In this poem the author comes to two roads that lead in different directions and has to make a choice of which one to follow. The traveler states that he is “sorry I could not travel both. And be one traveler, long I stood. And looked down one as far I could to where it bent in the undergrowth”. The traveler “doubted if I should ever come back” and has to make his decision. Since he doesn't know where the roads lead he doesn't know what will happen due to his choice. One example of this in modern times is the impact that a TV show can have. One TV show that has recently come under scrutiny is the show “Thirteen Reasons Why”. Recently CNN had an article named “Why Thirteen Reasons Why is Dangerous” that talked about this show and many organizations have warned of the impact that this show could have on others. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and others have stated that “risk of additional suicides increases when a story explicitly describes the suicide method, uses dramatic or graphic headlines or images, and when repeated coverage of that story sensationalizes or glamorizes a death.” Due to many young teenager watching the show there has also been a warning that “They may display graphic representations of suicide which may be harmful to viewers, especially young ones and those who are highly sensitized to suicide imagery.” Many people are arguing that these graphic images will influence many negatively and raise the risk of suicide among teenagers because many teenagers don't understand the extent of the graphic images they will watch when they start the show. While both sides may not agree on much, both sides have at least found common ground that suicide does need to be talked

According to Yaah Baya and Mberia (2014), “ many people claim there is no observable impact of television on adolescents, yet parents and teachers have shown much concern about the effect of television on our young people” (p 1). Television contributes to more adverse health and behavioral outcomes than positive. When adolescents are entertained by reality shows, music videos, and advertisements the possibility of negative exposure increases. A lot of these types of entertainment options can very easily lead to inappropriate and dysfunctional behaviors. The advertising of negativity contributes to deviant behavior (Browne & Hamilton-Giachritsis, 2005).…
