Iggy 's Bread of the World was a bakery opened by Igor and Ludmilla Ivanovic in 1994 in Watertown, Boston, Massachusetts. The mission of Iggy’s Bread of the World is threefold. First, the bread and the quality of the product help build trust with customers and their bread without hesitation. Also, Igor and Ludmilla Ivanovic have unique charisma that attracted the employees to love what they are doing and devote their attention to the bread. The third one is the community that they attempt to build a long-term relationship with outside customers. Therefore, in a short time, Iggy’s became very popular for the quality of its bread and supplied bread to many of the most prestigious business in Boston.

As time went on, Ludmilla found it was hard to keep a balance between career and family. Then, she gradually became less involved with the business. Igor and Ludmilla trusted their employees to make the right decisions when there were small problems, and they would come out only when a significant issue needed their attention. By this time, Iggy’s was successful, and it was a healthy organization.
Because they were a small organization, the strategy, marketing, finances, and technology could be clearly communicated to everyone in the team. Also, it had minimal policies and confusion, but high levels of morale and productivity, and very low turnover among good employees (Lencion, 2012, p. 5).
