If I Stay
1. The meaning of the title If I Stay means Mia has the choice to live or die. After a car crash that took killed her family she gets to see life from a different perspective. While watching everything that happens she decides if she wants to wake up from her coma, stay in the coma, or die. She see things she doesn’t like but things she also likes. So this title really means should I stay or should I go. After the accident Mia actually thought she was dead since she could see everything that was going on. She however, couldn’t feel any pain. She then realizes she isn’t dead but is able to see things that are happening to her and around her. It take a while for her to finally make her decision.

I recommend If I Stay to a friend because it is one of my all time favorite books. She goes through hard times such as having to see her family dying and friends and more family in pain while she is in her coma. It is a very interesting book that makes you want to keep reading to see what happens next. Before the car crash actually happens you get to see the way her family is and how Mia acts around them. You also read about all the fun memories she had with them. In my personal opinion watching people overcome hard times and battles is very interesting. That is a reason why I think you should also read it. To see how she deals with everything she sees. Another reason to read it is to see what her final decision of staying alive or dying is. To see the pain Mia goes through watching her family die is very sad but interesting because it makes an impact on her final decision. So I highly recommend you read this book.

9. I think one message that can be seen is you are always loved. Even when you are down someone in the world loves you. Some people won’t admit it but they do. Don’t give up when life gets you down. Find someone or something you love and play with them/it. Life isn’t worth being down. You really only live once, enjoy it. If you come up on an obstacle work hard and move past it. If you don’t feel loved you are wrong. People truly love you. You are loved. Maybe by someone you met at school or at a sport game, someone loves you. You will have those people who will do so much for you. Just know you are

The setting took place at many small and large islands from the U.S. all the way to Japan. This setting affects it’s characters because they had to travel a lot by ship to very hot, humid, obstacle filled islands with thousands of bugs.…
