If You Were A Soldier In George Washington's Army

If you were a soldier in George Washington’s army in the harsh winter of 1777, would you have re-enlisted or not re-enlisted when your enlistment is up? It's the winter of 1777 northwest of Philadelphia. Rotten food, harsh weather, poor clothing. Your enlistment is up in one month and George Washington is relying on you and the remaining men. Would you leave when your enlistment is up or stay and help George and the last of the men? While there are many good reasons to re-enlist, I have chosen to not re-enlist.

Even though I have chosen to not re-enlist, there are a lot of very valid reasons to re-enlist. Such as George Washington will stick up for us to the congress (Doc B). This will give us hope that he won’t abandon us. Also, people
