Your thoughts guide your actions: a motivated and determined mind is what you will need most, when you buckle down to getting a better looking body.
Making up your mind is not easy; harder still, is maintaining your resolve in the face of the challenges you are likely to face, as you strive to convert thought into action. Many like you have tried and failed. A few have succeeded, and succeeded well. You would surely want to be counted among the winners, wouldn't you?
So, how do you succeed in your effort to slim down and look sexy and attrac- tive? Or more precisely, what kind of mental makeup do you need in order to suc- ceed? Once you have a game plan in place, what does it take for you to stick to your resolve?

This is an eminently achievable goal. But most of those who aspire to it never actually get there . . . either because they are either unwilling to start or, if they have begun the journey, are unwilling to continue, for some perceived reason or another.
Could this be why most people in America are either overweight or obese?
By 2000, there were about 127 million Americans who were overweight while there were nearly 60 million people who were obese and about 9 million who were very obese. But if you don’t want to be the "Jim" of my first paragraph, you need to take some urgent steps to get into shape. This is likely to take time as it involves more than just wishful thinking. You have to work, and work hard. And that requires that you stay determined and keep reminding yourself about your objective, until you reach the moment of truth when you can shout out, "I did it! I have done what I set out to do."
Ask any successful LOSER (weight loser) how he did it and his answer is al- most always going to be, "I stuck with my resolve. I worked hard and now I have got it." If they can, so can you.
