If I Were Mayor In Sioux City

Decent Essays
If I were mayor, things will mostly be the same, but change a few things. Sioux City is a wonderful and beautiful place even though you might not see it. My childhood was not so great, so I know what things our city needs. I have two important things to do if I was mayor. Most times my priority will be safety in traffic and building new things.
Every two weeks I will have meetings and discuss the issues and things we need. Other than that, I will help hospitals. There are always hospitals that are in need. I wanted to be a doctor and make the patients happy. If I was mayor, I could get the community to help hospitals. I will also try to make more hospitals.
I will help the homeless animals. Homeless animals are like us; they get lonely sometimes

Known for its booming automotive industry during the 1950s and 1960s, Detroit, Michigan was a city in forefront of most people’s minds when you talked about Michigan or the Midwest, due to the triple-threat of General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler. Living and working in Detroit for one of these big automotive companies was that generation’s “American Dream.” However, from 1973 to 1974, there was a gasoline crisis that caused General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler to take a financial hit which also directly impacted Detroit’s financial health as well. During this time, Detroit’s American-made cars were unable to compete against foreign fuel-efficient cars, and the domestic automotive industry slowly started to decline . In 1974, Detroit’s first African-American…

Unbeknownst to many, outside influences have crept into Folsom politics, affecting crucial decisions.…

The city manager should research on whether accepting the 10-percent raise is part of his employment contract so no unethical issue is presented. 4.3 Information or Advocacy—Is There a Difference?…
