Women were still not getting the equal pay that men would normally get before they went off to the war and for world war 2 women employment rose higher which meant that more women were unhappy about the lower wages they were getting because they were women. Children and mothers would have to evacuate because they were in danger and often teachers would go with the children and all the teachers were often women because teaching children was considered a woman 's job.
