The Effects of Being an Identical Twin
When people see a pair of twins there are many questions that they ask, they first try to find the similarities between each other. Twins are always thought of something special and magical, now don’t get me wrong they are special, specially with the bond and the relationship that they build between each other. Even though just like any other thing it has its pros and cons.
Being a twin is determined by several factors, individuality, physically, comparison, competition, physiological and emotional. From the moment twins are born, they are inseparable. Every twin wants to be known has their own self and sometimes this causes frustration and it can be irritating as well as exasperating, when one of them is confuses by the other twin. Sometimes people tend to confuse them by blaming on one of the twins accidentally by scolding them for not doing something, not being in class, or the most common one is between twins, they will often blame each other so that the one of them is free of blame and the other one gets in trouble. This confusion can come from friends, teachers, sibling’s, family members and even parents. Often people suggests opting something that would resemblance in both such as different haircuts, clothing style, to reduce twin confusion.
When people start compering twins sometimes that could lead to a major issue that many people don’t often see the consequences their causing to them. It can sometimes affect their self- steam and cause hard feeling between them and towards people. It also can lead to dislike each other because of how they are being compared causing jealousy among each other. If the twin is placed in the same classroom and one of them gets some sort of a price for getting a good grade or passing an exam, then the other twin may feel discouraged if he doesn’t receive nothing
