1.8.3. Idealized Influence
Idealized influence refers to the behaviors of a transformational leader which inspires his or her followers’ trust, admiration, respect, and their wants to emulate the leader. Those behaviors include considering the needs of their followers above the leader's own interests or gains, and demonstrating consistency and good ethics in their conduct (Bass &Avolio, 1994; Shamir et al., 2013; Yukl& Van Fleet, 2015).
1.8.4. Inspirational Motivation
Inspirational motivation refers to transformational leaders sharing a compelling vision or goal with their followers and constantly motivating them to reach for the goal while boosting their confidence and reassuring them that barriers faced can be overcome (Bass &Avolio, 1994; Bell & Menguc, 2012; Chen, Hui, & Sego, 2013; Griffin, Neal, &Neale, 2013; Koys, 2014; Podsakoff et al., 2014).
