These blubbering quotes come to birth when it snaps our life within seconds by a ridiculous way to hang us upside down. Otherwise, brings tonnes of joy in which does not last sufficiently long. Imagine expectations can drive us nuts, instead of mentally putting us into the realms of reality. It’s a whole different galaxy, like between that of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy which is billion light years apart. How do people react? In this wise Earth, people whose going through life’s up and down told us we will be sailing if we cruised along the road trip to the unknown or uncertainty. Should we take their advice with a pinch of salt?

A lazy person, doing absolute nothing than just chit-chat in the class with all my friends and playing games right after I’ve reached home. As far as I know, my homework was absolutely obscene and my teachers would not be bothered anyway. I did take my responsibilities in doing my homework, but I skipped most of the part which dragged down my scores in my studies later. Still, nothing could ever go wrong. I’m still with the class, nothing on Earth would shake me. Ironically, I did realise when I didn’t do any homework, it was because I didn’t quite understand what I’m doing, mathematics especially. So then, when they were all piled up, I was getting lost on getting back up in the syllabus. In other words, I slowly stepping away from my class. In a good sense, however, when my teachers needed members for the drama team in the district competition. Since I have lost interest for my class, I began a new life in the drama …show more content…
It’s good to illustrate that I enjoyed them thoroughly and wonderfully. At first, we needed to perform according to the script of Rumpelstiltskin by each role. Relieved for me, my audition teacher gave the green light for me to stay. Besides, the lucky charm was on my side too when I passed the stringent audition provided with little hassle. So down it went with the training and all the preparations, the process took most of our learning hours in class. I couldn’t complain more about that as I’m already in the drama team. Commitment must be made, nonetheless I couldn’t be happier to stay away from the redundant, atypical

"Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence" I have had many ups and downs over the course of my life thus far. One specific example of this took place during my freshman year of high school. When I started high school it was very challenging for me, partially due to the fact that; during this time, I was lazy, unmotivated and did not really take school seriously. This by far is one of my biggest regrets to this day. Who would ever think that not trying during my freshman year would continue to follow me throughout the course of my academic career.…

The transition from High School can often times be very frustrating for students. L. Lennie Irvin opened my eyes to one of the bad habits I picked up on in High school. The habit of straying from the topic or theme could cause me to fail not only papers in English but my other courses as well. I personally had a hard time with English my first semester of college. In High school I was always at the top of my class and my teachers would tell me how great of a writer I was.…

Before high school, I always thought I was an average student, but when I transitioned into high school, people started to point out that I had potential. I began to work harder than I had ever before and I began to accelerate in every course. This never took a toll on me till the tenth grade, when my mental health started degrading. Anxiety was my first foe. During the beginning of the tenth grade, I had set high expectations for myself and it began to affect my life greatly For instance, after finishing the test, I would think about just one specific question that I thought I completed wrong.…

For most students, the transition from middle school to high school is the evolution from childhood to adulthood. In my case, my middle school graduation was a quick transition for another reason. The first few months of my freshman year had my parents rushing my grandfather in and out of the hospital because of his failing heart. By this point my grandfather had battled off colon cancer, 3 heart attacks, and 2 open heart surgeries. At age 74 he was not a candidate for a heart transplant but he was able to get a defibrillator.…

Hardworking, trustworthy, selfless, determined, and helpful… I believe that I have demonstrated these qualities exceptionally throughout my high school career. A glimpse at my exquisite grades that I have kept in four years of challenging classes reveals not only my effort, but my endless determination as well. Despite all of the energy that I directed towards my own success at school, I was always willing to help others who struggled in their classes, especially in math and science. Also, I put time and effort into my extracurricular activities in order to benefit my school’s community. I painted a mural of the Mt. Hope Bridge to beautify a conference room, helped plan countless events for the entire student body, from spirit weeks to…

Growing up I was always the tallest kid in the class. Whenever class picture day rolled around, I knew that I was in the front of the line because of my height. It was somewhat embarrassing when all the boys were shorter than I, and the girls made me feel bad for how out of place I was. Not only did my height provide social awkwardness, it also administered the constant, never ending struggle of finding garments long enough. Whenever my mom or grandmothers wanted to take me back to school shopping, I made excuses of “I don’t need any more habiliments” or “I do not feel good, all of the sudden…”…

A dilemma that I faced, and still am facing is simply the decision about what I want to do with my life after my high school career. In my freshman year of high school my goal was simply to get through the year in one piece. I was forced to conform to my new environment and all the strict rules that came along with it. Along with that it was the sudden transition from being the "big dogs" as eighth graders at my middle school to being "fresh-meat" in my first year high school. With so much attention placed on me as a freshman like on the varsity basketball team, where I was constantly forced to prove my worth to the coach and the players, to stepping out of my comfort zone and performing in a mandatory play for the rest of the the school as…

High school changes people. They express themselves, become opinionated, and they start to look at the world differently as they experience things they have never encountered before. A wise Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Man’s mind stretched to a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions.” This quote is an excellent way to describe my experience in high school.…

The end of the day comes whether you have gotten up to do something productive or if you have simply remained inanimate while time moves around you. I have found that the present slips away while you are worrying about the future. We are constantly telling ourselves that if we just get through this, then everything after will be better. We forget to appreciate the moment while constantly reaching for a hypothetically more fulfilling life. Once we graduate high school, or get through a challenging class, or finish a workout, everything after will get easier.…
