Icewine Case Study Summary

Improved Essays
Past ORT Device Reliability Data for Icewine with Montana had typically shown high variability in results. This was due to high stress in the OCAs that often lead to Reliability Failures. However, it was shown that after several weeks dwell the results would show significant improvement. All OCA Lots from the Taein Last Time Buy (LTB) were pre-Screened at Device-Level before they were accepted for MP input at TPK. Almost Half of the LTB OCA Lots were rejected after pre-screening for Montana.

The new Ontario 1 stack seems to have resolved this issue and has demonstrated more stable Display-Level and Device-Level Reliability through all of the Qualification tests and after three rounds of MP ORT. The Ontario 1 solution has allowed all of the Rejected Taein LTB Lots to be accepted for MP Input. Ontario 1 also showed an upward movement in First Pass Yield and Overall Yield at TPK. These outcomes are the key reasons why Icewine has been able to extend current shipment target from 1.72M to 1.77M units with the remaining Taein OCA.

Most of the new Si-OCA materials tested during these Proto studies showed extreme Reliability Failures at Display-Level Reliability and were
