Imagine standing in an ice cold blizzard or swimming in water with chunks of solid ice. Here are some “cool” ways these icefish and animals survive in the white winterland. Icefish are exactly what they sound like fish that live in ice water.How they survive in the below freezing water is far more unpredictable. Icefish have a substance in their blood that works like a natural anti-freeze. It keeps their blood and themselves from freezing or creating ice crystals in their blood While swimming in the freezing water. That special feature helps icefish survive in the crazy frigid place where they live.
