A time when I admired an accomplishment was when I was playing softball. We were in a tournament.. The team name was Diamond Doggers. For the games we had to play in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. There were 6 teams that we had to play. I remember the car ride over to Barnsdall, it was about a 25 minute drive. That was the longest 25 minutes of my life, because I was so nervous for the games. These questions of what if I strike out, what if I miss the ball, where is my coach going to have me play were just running through my head. My mom just kept telling me it was going to be okay, that I was going to do fine.

When we got there some of the teams were already there warming up. So I went over to some of the players on my team and we waited for our

We were visitor so we had to take the field first. Coach Drew put me on third base. The girl up to bat hit a line drive to me and I caught it. Then we had a a batter on first and second base. The pitcher was about to pitch and I knew I had to be ready because the catcher was going to throw that ball to me. The ball was released and in the corner of my eye I see the girl running so I run to the base, the catcher throws me the ball; I catch it and get the girl out. “She’s Out!” I heard the umpire said and all I hear is cheering. We run to the dugout and Coach tells us the batting order I am third to bat. I get my helmet on and watch the two girls in front of me bat. The first girl gets a hit and runs to second base. The next one gets to first because she got hit. I’m up to bat and I got my eye on the pitcher watching her at all times; she releases the ball and I am ready to hit this ball. I hit the ball it goes flying into the outfield. I drop the bat and run for first base, the coach is telling me to go to second base. Then I feel I can go to third so i’m running to third and my other coach is telling me home. I run towards home, I slide not knowing if i'm out or not. “SAFE!” When the umpire said that all I hear is cheering because I made it home. We won that game, so now we are in the …show more content…
We went home and I went straight to bed because of how exhausted I was. The next morning, we got up and head towards Barnsdall. The game was scheduled for noon so we got there about an hour early. When all the girls got there we started to play catch, and warm up. So we were ready for the game. It was almost time for the game to start, and the umpire had the coaches come out so they could flip a coin. We got home, so we are batting first. The first couple girls got on base, but one of them got struked out. It was my turn to bat and I already knew that we had one out. The pitcher threw that ball, and I made contact with it. It went over the girls heads and falls behind center field. I hit two girls in, and now i’m on second base.

The game went on, and it was our turn to take the field. First few girls were hitting the ball to the outfield. The next one hit all three girls in. The team was beating us by 3 now. This team was a tough team, but we didn’t stop trying. We kept our heads in the game. When the game ended we had lost by just a few points. Coach was so proud of what we did, how we never gave up. But we did get a runner up trophy. When the sponsors gave us our trophies it felt really good to have because it represents all the harm work we put

Right from the start of freshman year, I knew that I wanted to become a good lacrosse player, enough to make an impact on the game. I did numerous clinics and leagues for two years straight, I worked as hard as I possibly could to become the player I wanted to be. Throughout my training, there were times where I felt like I was never going to be as good as I longed to be, but my family and my coach motivated me to work through because they felt that the hard work would be worth it. Whenever I was feeling like this, I would always turn to them because they reminded me of how hard I worked and how great I would feel once I felt the reward.…

Our daily wiffle ball game was about to start. There was a wiffle ball game every evening behind the apartment complex I lived in. The game was played in a luscious green grass field with a monstrous hill in left field. The usual squad was myself, Ricky, Justin, Michael, Jonathon, Latrell, and occasionally Greg but his parents usually make him stay inside and play monopoly or some other dumb board game. Our teams were always different from the last game.…
