This move is about a 17 year old physics genius who works on her physics project for the summer so that she can go to harvard university . she decides to study the physics that was applied in competitive skating . so she would go by the rink and record the katers and the calculate the velocity and etc . As she studies she finds it would be easier if she tried doing the skating herself to find the answer.as she found the answers to how they went so fast and how high the went she was able to help the make there turns and there jumps even better they won't fall or anything while there on the ice .

as the movie moves on it talks about momentum . Caseys end up bringing up newton's third law “ for every action there is always an equal and opposite reactionin the movie casey about the known third which is newton's third law . as she talks about being able to turn and do all the leaps that she never thought that she would be able to until she did that's when newton's third law come into place .
