Ice Man
After reviewing other students post and informative writing pieces Iv came to A final conclusion on how Otzi got to the top of the mountain in his final moments. I believe that early in the morning Iceman Otzi and his hunting partner headed out to gather food for their tribe. He grabbed his hunting knife, quiver and cloak and headed into the northmost part of the woods. They journeyed 4 miles before reaching a stream that had a small deer drinking from it. Otzi readied his arrow to strike down the deer. Right as he was about to shoot he and his hunting partner hears a branch snap, he quickly looked up in full awareness. He looked in all directions until he finally spotted what had made the sound. It was a rival tribe behind the bushes staring with a devilish stare.

Otzi readied his bow and arrow, then handed his partner his knife. Within seconds the first tribesman was on him, he quickly shot him down killing him instantly. Right as he pulled the arrow out of the dead tribesman he heard a loud cry and looked up. His partner had been stabbed by one of the tribesmen and was bleeding heavily. He quickly took out his arrow and fired at the man hitting him in the shoulder. As the man tried to get the arrow out he grabbed his partner and began to head up a nearby mountain. Just as they started to get to the top they looked at the sky fearing the imminent storm that would fall upon them if they stayed for too long. After they acknowledged there would be a high risk for spending the night, they agreed to head back once they felt that they were
