Signs that show Emilia’s love towards Iago are when he instructed her to steal the handkerchief from Desdemona she did even though she didn’t feel it was right to steal the handkerchief. “I, am glad I have found this napkin. This was her first remembrance from the moor. My waywrd husband Hath a hundred times wooed me to steal it. But she so loves the token (For he conjured her she should ever keep it) that she reserves it evermore about her to kiss and talk to. I 'll have the work ta ' en out and give 't Iago. What he will do with it Heaven knows, not I. I nothing but to please his fantasy.” (Shakespere-3-3-334-344) This shows Emilia’s love and loyalty towards Iago even though handkerchief was very important to Desdemona it was Othello’s first gift to her she stole it anyways betraying Desdemona this will end up to be a giant mistake in the end. Another instance that showed Emilia’s love towards Iago was when Desdemona went around looking for the handkerchief she asked Emilia if she has seen it but replied no this also proves her love and loyalty to Iago.
