In my years of living at home, several life altering events have taken place. In fall of 2014, my father’s health made a dramatic decline, leaving him on permanent bed rest, and very little ability to use his legs. His strength was also declining. Over the past year he has hit a plateau in his health, but is still left with very little mobility of while on his own. My mother was working full time since the retirement of my father, who sacrificed his career as a Professor of Finance and accounting in 2000 when he was offered a teaching position at the Kelley School and turned it down, so my mother could go to school full time and fulfill her wishes of becoming an orthodontist. Hiring help was out of the question,
