ISIS is an Islamic State in Iraq and Syria and they were officially formed in 2013. Their main goal is to rule the world and they have staged horrific attacks all over the world in order to do so. It is the middle of July, 2016, and there has already been twenty-three terrorist attacks done by ISIS. Over 760 people have been killed since January, and over 1,700 have been injured. On January 7th, 2016, the islamic group attacked a police training camp in Libya. Libya claimed that they have killed over sixety people and 200 were wounded. In June, a gay nightclub in Orlando was attacked when a man who pledged to ISIS shot citizens who were celebrating pride week, killing forty-nine people and injuring fifty-three more. In their most recent attack, a man from the ISIS group drove a truck through a crowd of people who were watching the Bastille day fireworks in Nice, France. He then shot into the crowd. The group is another Islamic terrorist group. Al-Qaeda was founded by Osama Bin Laden in the late 1980s. Their first attack happened on December 29th, 1992 in Aden, Yemen. The bombers targeted two hotels, killing two Australian tourists. The most destructive terrorist attack caused by Al-Qaeda was the September 11th attack. Four planes were hijacked and two were crashed into the World Trade Center and one hit the Pentagon. The last plane was also heading to Washington, D.C. but the passengers of the plane crashed the plane in a random field in order to stop the terrorist act. The World Trade Center buildings crashed to the ground, causing the entire city of New York to go frantic. This terrorist attack killed over 3,000 people and injured 6,000 more. This is known to be the worst terrorist attack done on the United States. Ten years after this attack, the United States Navy Seals finally found and killed Osama Bin Laden.
There are still other countries and groups who have also done terrorist attacks though. On December 2, 2015, a mass shooting took place in San Bernardino, California. Syde Rizwan and Farook Malik, a married couple living in the city of Redlands, targeted the department of Public Health Christmas party and killed fourteen people and seriously injured twenty-two others.
