The definition of terrorism has changed over the years but it has never been quite clear. According to Terrorism, Intelligence and Homeland Security by, Robert Taylor and Charles Swanson, terrorism is “the deliberate and unlawful use of threats or actual violence to inculcate fear, intended to intimidate or coerce individuals, groups, or governments to change their political, social or religious basis.” Now this is a general definition that just raises more questions. Whatever a group decides to do because of their beliefs or government enforcement is right to them because they believe in what they are doing. The most effective weapon they have besides fear, is brainwashing. They make promises to people within the organization witch ISIS cannot withheld. The promises of wealth and woman in the afterlife or the safety of someone family when that person has a bomb strapped to their chest. Even though that persons family has been raped or killed without the suicide bomber knowing. I have talked to former and past US Marines that have, captured and questioned ISIS members. They told me that the ISIS members truly believed the teachings of the radicalism and they also believed their families were safe even when they were given proof that there family was dead. In Dabiq there is a very detailed explanation on how they took down the plain, with a soda can and C4. Now it seems fishy to me that they would release how they completed an attack that killed 224 people. (Fox News) Professionals in the subject in these attacks agree with me according to Fox News, the FBI and NATO are trying to manufacture the bomb used but, they find it to be impossible to put 2 pounds of C4 in a soda can.
