The ideology of terrorism supported by this definition can also be put on a range of severity. There are also different types of terrorism. “Selective or individualized” acts are aimed to take out actors in important roles usually political figures (Goodwin, p.2030). There is also “random terrorism” which the targets are unknown individuals who are not directly involved in the conflict (Goodwin, p.2031). On the different ranges of terrorism, ISIS and its fighters are on the top as being one the most violent groups against others. ISIS commits acts terror small and large, night and day without disregard. Their agenda is to be heard by the rest of the world and respected but instead they feared and dangerous.
