Through the taking of the Myers-Briggs typology test, the O-Net Career assessment, and the Spiritual Gifts Test, I was able to discover more about myself as well as learn exactly how I can use my gifts and personality to better serve Christ in ministry and throughout my life. The results of these three tests, my INTJ typology; my spiritual gifts of music, writing and celibacy; and the fact that I am more suited towards jobs involving arts and communications, can ultimately be utilized as tools of understanding as I continue to grow mentally and spiritually during this current phase of my life. According to the Myers-Briggs typology assessment, I am an INTJ type, one of the rarest and most strategically capable of the 16 different personality types. This type…

According to the Jung Typology Test, I have the personality type "INTJ". This indicates that I am mostly an introverted, thinking, and judging personality. While I consider these characteristics to be natural tendencies that I have, it is important for me to remember to avoid using labels as excuses for who I am in the flesh. I have a "moderate preference of introversion over extraversion" (humanmetrics.com) according to the test. I am shy and reserved around most people, and I often find a lot of group interaction stressful.…

My personality type indicated by The Keirsey Temperament report is that of the idealist and I agree. It seems I always strive to discover who I am and how I am my greatest – whether it be professional, such as education or self-improvement, such as, better health. Inspiring others to visualize their dream or journey has led to lasting relationships. Always working with people, from my first job at McDonald’s, then a bank teller, dabbling in sales, and eventually a manager, I believe being friendly and getting along is the way to lead. An idealist is harmonious and gets along with people and works together for the benefit of all.…

This type indicates that my personality exhibits strength of character in regards to stability and assertiveness while simultaneously being good-natured and trustworthy. INFP individuals “are more productive when the effort [invested] reflects some ideal or service;” for instance, by adding some sort of altruistic aspect to otherwise meaningless work, this action can motivate INFP personality types (Kroeger, Thuesen, & Rutledge, 2002, p. 340). As far as values and attitude insight, I am reserved and creative, a combination which allows for problem-solving and innovativeness. When looking at what motivates me, I found that I am nearly equal within the three needs, namely growth, relatedness, and existence; this score is likely due to my being at a point in my life where I want to increase my skillset, form new social relationships, and find a job within my new community. As far as the decision-making process, I have a high level of faith in people; as I have a creative mind, I am able to look at problems and find innovative ways to solve these.…

I also like card games that require speed and pattern recognition, like peanuts and Egyptian war. I am very logic oriented, which is common for INTPs.…
