1. Explain in detail with examples as to why a business needs a disaster recovery plan and Business Continuity plan?
Disasters cannot always be avoided. However with creating recovery plans the outcomes of a disaster can be minimized. A Disaster recovery plan lowers the downtime and potential data loss for businesses and individuals that have them. First it protects the organization if computer services become unusable. Additionally, the plan minimizes the disturbances of the business and gives some level of stability and an order after or during a disaster. Companies are able to measure the effectiveness of their disaster recovery plan by taking into account what’s known as recovery time objective and the recovery point objective.

Electronic commerce or e-commerce is when businesses are involved with the transfer of information by using the Internet. E-commerce is involved in consumer based retail sites, auctions, and business exchanges trading goods and services between corporations. Ecommerce permits users to electronically exchange goods and services without limitations of time or distance. E-commerce has two types of transactions: Business to consumers, and Business to business.
Business to consumers (B2C) electronic commerce is used when a transaction or purchase has been conducted over the Internet between a business and a consumer. For instance, Stores like Walmart promote their goods and services in their website. This gives individuals the opportunity to order or shop for goods without the requirements of transportation to the store.
