Team Introduction Team D is a virtual team of competent members who come together with the objectives to develop and implement strategies to help them successfully complete this case study analysis of IBM. Over the next three weeks, we use our variety of talent, skills and knowledge to meet our goals by contributing said strengths and skills in an effort to thoroughly complete the weekly assigned tasks. Every member on our team understands the vital roles we play and are committed to the success of Team D. Team D consists of Brenda Barlow, Robert Bermudez, Janese Canto, Tyechia Crowder and Lamyeia Fields. Lamyeia Fields is an intrinsically motivated individual who is determined to be successful. According to her Insight Profile, she is a highly analytical individual who is not outspoken. Moreover, this is an area of challenge that she continuously works on. She currently works in higher education and her long term goal is to remain in higher education and expand into a senior administrative role. She believes that every individual has something they can teach others, but it takes the right situation and circumstances to get people to recognize and develop those talents. She wants to remain in education so that she can be the catalyst for the development of those talents. She has over five years of higher education experience, between teaching and administration, and over ten years of leadership experience. She gained her leadership experience from working in a retail environment and also working as a general manager in the finance industry. The steps we will need to take to accomplish this goal would be to communicate with each other. Each member has agreed to dedicated and efficient participant in order to achieve our goals. We do realize that unforeseen circumstances such as jobs, illness, family emergencies, etc. may affect any team member’s success. Therefore, we agree that team members will contact the Team leader should any such occasion arises. There are many ways to communicate with our team. What seems to be working best for our team is email and conference calls with each other. The conference calls allow communication to flow better and make sure everyone understands the task they have been assigned.
