When I took the IAT test, I did not receive the results I expected. My IAT results resemble that I moderately to strongly favor whites over African Americans. I decided to retake the IAT test because I was so astonished by my results the first time through. I would like to believe that I do not favor whites nor blacks, but in reality, I cannot disagree with the way my results came out. I believe these results represent my upbringing. I hope to change my IAT results in the future. I do not want to be biased or racist toward one group or the other.
