Introduction:
How many kids with ADHD does it take to screw in a light bulb? Want to go get something to eat? Kids these days have no idea what life is like without technology. We can do literally anything in just seconds without having to move from whatever position we are in. But, is technology affecting the way our brain develops and also shortening our attention span? Jacque Wilson from CNN wrote and article about IQ scores. Wilson describes a study that is done that is proven that we are getting smarter as the years go on.(CNN-IQ) But is that from technology? Growing up in the ninety’s I always played outside with friends but I would also watch a lot of television and I believe it has effected the way my brain works today. I have been diagnosed with ADD since the fifth grade and so has my brother. My brother and I both actively played sports and played outside but exceeded the amount of screen time that is suggested.
