I Would Fall Under Three Leadership Styles

After reviewing the article I would fall under three of the leadership styles. The first style would be the Affiliative Style. I would fall under this style with wanting to create harmony throughout my company. I want to build effective relationship with my employees. The Affiliative Style is about having empathy with your employees. The Affiliative Style is about having god communication skills and building report with your employees. The Affiliative Style is all about motivating your employees during stressful times your company will face. The second style leadership would be Democratic Style. I would fall under this style with using collaboration throughout my company. The Democratic Style also builds team leadership with their employees. …show more content…
The Coercive Style demands immediate obedience of employees. The Coercive Style is drive initiative and self-control. The Coercive Style drives a quick turnaround of employees. The Coercive Style provides negative feedback for employees. The Coercive Style creates low morale for a company. The Coercive Style has too high demands for their employees. The Coercive Style can create trust issues throughout the company. The Pacesetting Style sets high standards for performance in a company leading to employees feeling overwhelmed. The Pacesetting Style is used for highly motivated and competent teams within a company. The Pacesetting Style will lower morale in a company. The Pacesetting Style has no flexibility for its employees. The Pacesetting Style can lead the employees become bored and feel like their job is too routine.
The important factors when interacting with the Coercive and Pacesetting styles is to make sure these styles are only meant for short-term styles. Another important factor is to try to find ways to build morale for the employees in the company.
