Life takes unexpected turns and can catch you off guard in the blink of an eye. This is something I had to experience just as many others have before me. He has worked his whole life up until he retired in 2014, with a company called CEICO where he had began working right after graduating high school. As years went on the company decided to make an expansion and move a company to a town called Mount Pleasant, Iowa. I still can feel the bitterness that overwhelmed my mouth when my mom told me what had happened. My mom being young when she had my brother and I, never had anyone close enough pass away or get diagnosed with an illness before so it was something that was heart shattering to realize that was happening to someone so close to me before. I left my suite room after talking to my mom and reassuring her I would be ‘’fine’’, sat in my car and cried.
