When I was in middle school my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up. My replied was “Happy.” I know it was an odd reply, but I ended up saying happiness: from what I knew happiness had different faces. Some versions of happiness weren’t appealing to me, some were beautiful. Like all the other kids, I thought the beautiful versions were the ones on TV. This was the life to strive for. Today, I am inspired by this quote by Sadako Sasaki: “I will write peace on your wings and you will fly all over the world - Sadako Sasaki”

I believe that happiness is something that everyone deserves. I may have to take the rugged road sometimes and may get intimidated by the situations, but that will never hide me from the truth and won 't stop me from continuing chasing the truth that, I had vowed. Like Sasaki said, I want to live in a true state of happiness; to take my wings and fly, and wherever I go, set people free bringing peace, hope, and happiness to myself and the world around me.
