“You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) Although we may look at the study of psychology and try to flesh it out by cognitive and or biological means. The other lens that is important to look at how we as people do the things we do and act the way we do is through the Bible. Through these world views we try to understand the big questions that we try answer throughout our lives. In our humble attempts to understand ourselves and the world that we live in.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth……… God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them.” (Gen 1:1& 27) When answering one of life’s big questions of where did we come from, one could view this through a Christ-like lens. What they would probably come to know and believe is that according to this world-view, we all come from God and are made and modeled in his likeness. That is who we are as people and everything that does exist in this world that we call home.
In continuation those by comparison through the viewpoint of evolution that fact of mankind and the world’s existence is a total other story. The school of thought is that we have come about as a people and a world through the means such as described by Darwin.
