Sample Case Study Of Early Childhood Development

For this case study I will be using my nephew as the subject. J is 13 years old soon to be 14, living in the suburb area of Hilliard with his mother and sister. Even though they come from a lower socioeconomic status, my sister wanted them to attend a good school to be able to have some privileges and advantages that are hard to find in some rural schools. Therefore, she had to make some sacrifices in order to live in Hilliard and be able to provide quality education and stability for her children.
J and his sister stay connect it with their father and father’s family in a regular bases. Especially now that J’s older cousin started to drive and has more flexibility to transport J to his soccer games and practices. As a family, we have realized that J is looking for older peers to spend time, which contributes to the fact of reaching out for his cousin and older peers Although, J has been spending more time with the father’s side of the family on the weekends, he was raced and educated by mom and mom’s side of the family. In other words, throughout J’s growth; grandparents, uncle and aunt contributed to the person he is today.
Additionally, our family’s dynamic has influenced J in positive ways. We are an immensely united family that has been a support system for J in many aspects of his life. He had the opportunity to see his grandfather and

He has been able to see and live the culture by visiting Mexico and Bolivia and through interactions with us he continues to modify traditions, learning from both cultures. Fist, experiencing family meals every night, especially on the weekends because that became a ritual. Family values and beliefs are very important for J’s grandfather and he makes sure to pass those on to J.
