“Hello Mr. Standfield, I am Dr. Winslow, I will be conducting your psychoanalysis. How are you feeling today?”
“I fine how about yourself?” Mr. Standfield replied.
“Great, thank you for asking. Please can you describe to me the events that occurred on November 21, 2012 and any events that lead up to that day please?”
“Sure doc but I can only remember certain things about that day, I mean it is all fuzzy and all.”
“Just tell me what ever you remember.”
“You mind if I lay on that long couch there and talk?”
“No Mr. Standfield, what ever makes you more comfortable. I am advised to tell you that what ever you tell me in here, will be confidential and will not be shared with any other person without your consent. So feel free to say anything that

I would ask my dad if I could go play with the other kids and he would just say, “One day this old house is going to be yours and you should take care of it now rather than later.” Looking back on it now I realized it kind of taught me things like responsibility, dependability and knowing how to fix things. At the time I would rather go play than to work on an old house. If mom had been there though things would have been a lot different. She wouldn’t have made me do much of anything but my homework and clean my room from time to time. Sometimes I wonder what she would have been like today and all. It was her idea to move to Georgia in the first place. She said she had a dream and in her dream something told her to move there. My dad didn’t really want to move at that time because of the job he was working. I guess he had finally had enough of …show more content…
I hadn’t even known she knew my name until now. I ask her how she knew my dad had died? She said it was in the newspaper and plus her dad was the pastor. So her father is a pastor, great just what I need, I’m thinking. I told her I was doing okay and how now I have this big empty house to look after. She starts pouring her a glass of beer like we was suppose to be on a date that I had no clue we was on. I asked why she was sitting with me and she replied, “Because I know everyone else in here, but I don’t know you that well.”
“You make it your business to know everyone you don’t know in a bar?
“Sometimes, it is just a little thing I do with my self. Call it knowing the people around you sort of thing. If I am going to potentially go home with one of these guys, then I might as well leave with the best prospect don’t you think.” As she looks at me with those big blue eyes and smiles. I guess what she is saying is true but that would mean she wants to go home with me. How would she have determined that when she just walked in the door? I guess this is her hangout after work, makes sense how everyone including the bartender knows her. She asks if I have any other family or friends here? I replied no and said please excuse me I have to use the bathroom. I had been drinking for hours now and was starting to feel the effects that drinking has over me. Stumbling back out the door I finally make it to my chair. I drank my full

This past week, I have been helping my church prepare for the annual family fest held on Halloween and I asked a girl I met last April who is from Thailand to help me put flyers into the bags we hand out to all of the people that come to the family fest. This young girl’s name was June and she is in high school. She moved to the United States with her parents last year. Her parents have previously lived in the United States, and after growing up and living with some of her family in Thailand, she has moved back to the United States with her parents. About six months ago, one of the students that attend the youth group on Wednesday nights invited June to church…
