Essay On Divorced Family

It all began when I was born in the year of 1998. I was a young child coming into the world, not knowing what to expect in life. I came into the world where there was a great conflict between my father and mother. I can 't remember exactly how everything played out between my parents and what the strief was between them. As a child you 're expected to be nurtured and cared for in life, I didn 't really received any of that from my father, my mother was the only one who tended to me. I was born April 29, 1998 and I came into this world during the time of the “great split” between, not only my parents, but my family. First off, I can 't remember vividly how my parents were, but I can describe the struggles and fights they had between each other. My mother would tell me the events that occurred to her and describe the situation that she had been in. I also had some formal knowledge of what happened during that time of struggle. My father was an alcoholic at the time and he would come home drunk and not himself half the time. He would always walk through the door with a bottle of beer in his hand. There was many things that changed but for the good of my family. Yes, I grew up without a father figure for seven years until I met my step-father, he was the true father figure in my life and I don 't know what I would do without him. My parents divorce was like climbing a mountain because life mountains you face obstacles that stand in between you and your path to success. That obstacle on that mountain is my parents “Great Split” and my friends, family, and therapy session helped me get pass that rocked that stood in my way and I am still climbing that mountain till this day. My journey to success was paused from a brief obstacle in my life and with time and patience I was able to conquer that obstacle that stood in my path to success in
