In high school, I have never been involved with athletics as much as I had wished. I did not much affinity towards our sports teams either. Athletics seemed more of a requirement and a hassle rather than something that had a lot of value in it. At Syracuse, I would want to become someone who doesn’t see sports in that light. I want to be involved with sports at the university, both playing and cheering, and have a school and sports teams that I can feel vast amounts of pride for, even after I become an alumni.
