Statement of Purpose

I was raised as an only child until I was 21. At that time, I became the youngest of three after I met my father for the very first time. I am proud to say that I am the first college graduate on each side of my family. This placed a spark in my heart to continue my pursuit of learning and impacting children the best I could. Throughout my grade school career up until college, I always struggled academically in school. I was always a part of the lowest groups in both reading and math. Learning was difficult for me; learning required a lot of effort and time out of school.
