Statement of Purpose
I was raised as an only child until I was 21. At that time, I became the youngest of three after I met my father for the very first time. I am proud to say that I am the first college graduate on each side of my family. This placed a spark in my heart to continue my pursuit of learning and impacting children the best I could. Throughout my grade school career up until college, I always struggled academically in school. I was always a part of the lowest groups in both reading and math. Learning was difficult for me; learning required a lot of effort and time out of school. My grandmother and mother were always my cheerleaders and gave me the motivation to continue my education after high school. Once in college, I decided
